Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of training do you provide before implementation?
Training is dependant on the needs of your practice. Training typically consists of 2 hours for clerical and 2 hours for clinical one to two weeks before GoLive. This then follows up with a final Q&A the week before GoLive. Tutorials are also available to access through AgileEMR.
Will we have a dedicated implementation representative throughout the process?
Yes, AgileEMR will assign a dedicated representative that will be available through the entire process.
How do you follow up after the initial implementation?
Your dedicated representative will follow up each day throughout the first week and second. In the second week, they will provide a post Q&A session.
Do you offer different implementation plans for clinics based on their needs?
Yes, this is dependant on the needs of the clinic.
What is an EMR?
Short for electronic medical records, EMR software is used to help medical practices and health care providers develop, manage and store digital versions of patient medical records and other clinical procedures, such as billing and scheduling.
EMR software is nothing new to the medical industry. However, until AgileEMR, there has not been an EMR designed specifically with physical therapy in mind. This is what makes AgileEMR special. Being designed by physical therapists, for physical therapists means every aspect of our system is designed to integrate with the documentation and administrative needs of your practice or department.
What are the benefits of AgileEMR for my practice?
An EMR benefits your practice by bringing all documentation, billing and scheduling information under one easy-to-use system. Using AgileEMR saves physical therapists and administrative staff hours of time navigating complicated EMRs or using EMRs that aren’t designed with physical therapy in mind.
Billing and scheduling is simpler and can be customized to the needs of each practice to ensure that AgileEMR works exactly as your staff needs.
What are the benefits of AgileEMR for my patients?
Using AgileEMR benefits your patients by helping to reduce administrative errors that may cause billing or scheduling conflicts. Additionally, as documentation is typed rather than handwritten, it is easier for other physical therapists and other health care professionals to understand your treatment notes and feedback.
Is AgileEMR secure?
AgileEMR uses the latest data security systems available to ensure your patients’ information remains secure and HIPAA compliant. Additionally, our team strives to stay up with changes to compliance and regulations to ensure that our software never causes any compromises for your practice or your patients.
What does “cloud-based” mean?
AgileEMR’s cloud-based platform provides remote access and the highest levels of data security available.
Cloud-based computing is an on-demand computer system that delivers data and processing power without direct active management. Some of the key benefits of cloud-based computing include being able to access the same information from a variety of devices and not having to worry about your data taking up too much storage space in your devices.
